The first Totton & Eling Arts Festival in 2014 featured a fantastic pop up shop in Totton precinct. Local artists and crafters came together to sell their one of pieces of work. The shop was a huge success and highlighted the desire for local people wanting to get creative and share their skills and experiences.
The pop up shop was the brain child of local artist Tory Allen; who went on to form the Tidal Arts and Crafts Movement. Tidal Arts brings creativity to the good folks of Totton, Eling and surrounding areas. They meet once a month at Testwood School in the Arts department. All ages and abilities are welcome and the types of crafts workshops vary to meet varying skills and different budgets.
“We are a very informal, friendly bunch who share a love of all things artistic and creative.” Tory Allen, Tidal Arts and Crafts Movement
